Strengthening Bonds Among Current Students, Alumni, and the Institution we Love.
A vibrant and engaged network is the backbone of a thriving college community, and that is no exception on the Hill. We are exceptionally proud of the more than 33,000 alumni who are a testament to the value of a McDaniel College education, and our college reaches new heights with the addition of our donors, faculty, staff, families, and friends to our network.
To continue to strengthen the college’s legacy that was formed more than 150 years ago, we will forge 2,500 new community connections and create 500 new career connections by the end of the Reaching New Heights campaign.
Whether attending an event on campus, referring a future Green Terror, volunteering on the Hill, posting a job, or simply updating contact information with the college and on LinkedIn, the McDaniel community will be stronger together at the end of this campaign.
We all came to McDaniel in the first place because of the promise that we mattered. Our focus as alumni now needs to be on the students that are there now and will be in the future — they matter.”

Finding Fulfillment in Volunteerism on the Hill
Entrepreneur, philanthropist, and 2025 Alum of the Year Nupur Parekh Flynn ’94 says that generosity is simply a part of her DNA. Whether that’s through her service on the McDaniel College Board of Trustees from 2007 until 2011, her work with United Way of Central Maryland, her tenure as a trustee of the Baltimore Museum of Art, her stints coming back to the Hill as a guest lecturer, or serving as a mentor for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge, Flynn says that giving back in whatever ways she can “is just the most fulfilling part of life.”
