Make history during McDaniel College’s 1867 Challenge, an 1,867-minute giving campaign inspired by the year of our founding.
Giving opens at 9 a.m. on March 11 and runs until 4:07 p.m. on March 12!
During these 1,867 minutes, we’re calling on alumni, parents, friends, and supporters to come together to show their Green Terror pride and make an impact for McDaniel students.

CHANGING LIVES
Western Maryland College was born from the ideas of one man, Fayette Buell, who sought the support of many to make his dream of a co-educational liberal arts school become a reality.
Since 1867, WMC and McDaniel have thrived because of the support of so many people who are invested in the success of our community.
The 1867 Challenge is an opportunity to showcase the spirit of generosity that has made the Hill such a special place to live and learn.
